EURO-3C: Krateo in Europe’s sovereign Telco, Edge and Cloud infrastructure.

EURO-3C is a €75 million Horizon Europe project, announced at MWC on 2 March 2026, to build the first pan-European federated Telco, Edge and Cloud infrastructure. Krateo is among its beneficiaries.

Seventy organisations, one goal: digital sovereignty.

Announced at MWC on 2 March 2026 by the European Commission and a consortium led by Telefónica, EURO-3C deploys a federated, open and interoperable architecture that brings Telco, Edge, Cloud and AI together at European scale, in production.

Krateo PlatformOps is among the beneficiaries, alongside Telefónica, Deutsche Telekom, Ericsson, Nokia, TIM Enterprise, Vodafone, Orange, Thales, Stellantis, Fraunhofer and Inria. Open, composable, infrastructure-agnostic orchestration is what Krateo was built for.

Why Krateo fits.

EURO-3C federates telco, edge and cloud from many vendors, in production. That takes orchestration that is open, composable and infrastructure-agnostic, which is what Krateo PlatformOps was built for. AGENTIKO adds the reasoning plane on top, with a person approving every change.
